This is a rare and exciting opportunity to shape how risk works in practice at YBS—joining at a pivotal point in our enterprise risk transformation, supported by a newly implemented ServiceNow platform. At the heart of enterprise risk transformation, in this role you’ll translate strategy into tangible, business-wide improvements and delivery – such as improving how risks are identified, managed and reported, strengthening control standards and using data to make better decisions at all levels of the company. This is an opportunity to take real ownership, influence across the organisation, and help embed a more data-led, efficient and consistent approach to risk management.
As a Risk Innovation Specialist, you’ll lead and support initiatives that strengthen risk management across the organisation, helping translate strategy into practical, effective outcomes. In addition you will:
- Drive innovation – leading initiatives that improve frameworks, controls, and how risk is managed in practice
- Enhance the platform – working with internal and external partners to evolve ServiceNow to improve insight, usability, and data quality
- Embed change – working with business areas to make risk processes more consistent, practical, and effective
Please Note: The team are currently working flexibly. Most of the team are working from home and coming into the Leeds office when needed for team meetings however, the office is always open if you would like to come in more often.
We are looking for a collaborative and analytical professional with a passion for driving meaningful change in risk management. To succeed in this role you will have:
- Experience working with enterprise risk frameworks, risk change initiatives, and data-led reporting (ServiceNow is desirable not essential)
- Ability to influence internal & external stakeholders and lead cross-functional workstreams.
- Great analytical skills with the ability to translate strategy into practical delivery outcomes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
