This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to shape the future of data at Yorkshire Building Society. As Data Product Manager, you will lead the delivery and evolution of business-facing data products that power insight, analytics and AI across the organisation. Working within our Data Intelligence Centre of Enablement, you'll play a key role in our transition to modern cloud-based data platforms, driving the creation of trusted, high-value data products that enable better decisions, richer organisational insight and measurable business impact.

About the role:

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of data products within the YBS Data Marketplace, from planning and delivery through to continuous improvement.
  • Lead the transition to modern Microsoft cloud-based data platforms, embedding scalable and reusable data products.
  • Drive the development of integrated, 360-degree views of the organisation to enable richer insight and better decision-making.
  • Work closely with Architecture, Data Platform and engineering teams to ensure products align with enterprise standards and future capability needs.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, translating strategic priorities into clear product roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, creating momentum and supporting colleagues through change.
  • Partner with analytics, AI and engineering teams to unlock new opportunities and maximise the value of organisational data.
  • Embed data quality, governance and consistency into products, ensuring trusted and reliable data assets.
  • Manage delivery priorities across a complex demand landscape, balancing value, cost, risk and quality.

About you:

  • You’ll be an experienced data leader with a passion for modern data products, people leadership and delivering meaningful business outcomes.
  • Strong experience delivering data products on Microsoft-based cloud platforms.
  • Proven track record of transitioning organisations from legacy to modern data architectures.
  • Experience leading teams through change and driving successful data transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to balance delivery pace with quality, governance and architectural integrity.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex data concepts in a clear and engaging way.
  • Experience working across data, analytics, engineering and architecture functions to deliver shared outcomes.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
  • Experience defining and delivering product roadmaps that align business objectives with data strategy.
  • Strong commercial and delivery awareness, with the ability to prioritise investments that deliver measurable organisational value.
