Are you passionate about turning data into action and building a truly data-driven culture? We're looking for a Data Intelligence Partner to help accelerate Yorkshire Building Society's journey to becoming a truly data-driven organisation. This isn't a traditional reporting role. You'll partner with business teams to unlock the value of data, champion self-serve analytics, and help colleagues use insight to make smarter decisions. You'll play a key role in driving adoption of Power BI, building data capability across the organisation, and embedding a culture where data informs decision-making at every level. This is a hybrid role, a mix of working from home plus time in our central Leeds & Bradford offices.
As Data Intelligence Partner, you'll help shape how data is used across YBS by:
- Driving adoption of Power BI and our self-serve analytics strategy.
- Supporting the migration from legacy reporting tools to our modern enterprise data platform.
- Delivering the Data Academy and building data capability across the organisation.
- Designing and developing high-quality dashboards, reporting solutions and semantic models.
- Embedding consistent reporting, governance and MI standards.
- Acting as the link between business teams and Data & AI to turn business challenges into actionable insight.
You'll combine strong technical expertise with the ability to influence, engage and coach others. You’ll bring:
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and semantic modelling.
- Knowledge of Power BI best practice, governance, workspace management and user-centred dashboard design.
- Experience supporting reporting transformation, change initiatives or platform migrations.
- The ability to translate business needs into meaningful data and insight solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and coaching skills.
- Experience designing and delivering training, learning materials or capability-building initiatives.
