Financial Crime Training Lead
Yorkshire Building Society Bradford, United KingdomDo you have a background in designing & delivering training? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Training Specialist to join our Financial Crime Team on a fixed-term contract.
YBS has invested in new technology to drive our growth. As part of this initiative, we are implementing new systems to ensure the safety of our members and colleagues. In this role, you\'ll upskill our colleagues to support our strategic priorities and equip our teams with the skills needed to effectively detect and prevent financial crimes.
This is a hybrid role, where you can blend working from home, with office presence dependent on business & training delivery requirements at our Leeds & Bradford offices.
Fixed Term Contract - 12 months
About the role
- You will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training programs to equip transaction monitoring analysts and the broader Financial Crime and support teams with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively detect and prevent financial crimes
- You will deliver training and coaching on processes across our Financial Crime teams, the wider business, and to its members
- You will act as the primary contact for Senior Managers across the business to raise requests for training and awareness. This includes creating and implementing appropriate solutions and communication plans and collaborating with third-party providers when necessary to meet training needs
About you
- We would like the successful candidate to have previous experience in designing and delivering training programs, ideally in Financial Crime so you have some understanding of the systems/ processes, and risks & controls required
- You must also have strong stakeholder management, engagement and communication skills, both verbally and written
- You\'ll ideally also have data & digital literacy skills
