Join to apply for the Financial Crime Training Lead role at Yorkshire Building Society. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months. The role is hybrid, with a mix of homeworking and required presence at our Leeds and Bradford offices depending on training delivery needs.

About the role

You will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training programs to equip transaction monitoring analysts and the broader Financial Crime and support teams with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively detect and prevent financial crimes. You will deliver training and coaching on processes across our Financial Crime teams, the wider business, and to its members. You will act as the primary contact for Senior Managers across the business to raise requests for training and awareness, including creating and implementing appropriate solutions and communication plans and collaborating with third-party providers when necessary to meet training needs.

About you

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience in designing and delivering training programs, ideally in Financial Crime, to understand the systems/processes, risks, and controls required. Excellent instructional design and facilitation skills. Experience with learning platforms and blended learning approaches. Strong training project management and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
