Are you looking for your next step forward in your finance career? We are looking for a Technical Accountant to join the team and take responsibility for our hedge accounting portfolios. This is an exciting opportunity to build expertise in a specialist and high value area of Finance. At Yorkshire Building Society, we are committed to strong financial stewardship and effective risk management. Our Technical Accounting team plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting, working closely with Finance and Treasury to support the Society's long-term success. This is a hybrid role, working from home along with one day per week in our central Leeds office (increasing around half year and year end).
About the role
As a Technical Accountant, you will support the accurate and effective application of hedge accounting across the Society. You will work closely with colleagues in Finance and Treasury, developing a strong understanding of the Society's exposure to interest rate and currency risk.
