Personal Assistant to Lead Strategy and Sustainability Officer. Our Finance function is on a journey of embedding new ways of working to ensure we remain ambitious, agile and nimble and we are always looking to do things better!
We have a great opportunity for a proactive and self-starting PA to provide 1:1 support to our busy Lead Strategy and Sustainability Officer (LSSO). You will be part of our fantastic Finance PA team, as well as the wider ExCo PA team, giving you great exposure to our executive leadership team in a fast-paced environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities for the LSSO PA role are:
- Extensive diary management often with last minute changes
- Full inbox management with accountability for completion of LSSO actions
- Proof reading documents and drafting meeting agendas on behalf of the LSSO
- Arranging travel within the UK
- Being the main gatekeeper and point of contact for key stakeholders
- Planning and preparation for conferences, events and speaking engagements, ensuring timely and thorough briefing calls and material provided for the LSSO
- Overseeing IT issues for the LSSO, as well as supporting with colleague work journeys on the HR system, team events and ad hoc admin
- Work well and collaboratively as a key member of the Finance and Chief Officer PA teams
About You
Strong experience as a senior PA supporting at senior Exec level. Experience working in finance or professional services is desirable. Highly organised with great attention to detail and strong communication skills. Must be able to work at pace, remain calm under pressure and build excellent relationships. You must be highly organised, experienced in working on multiple priorities at the same time, and confident working at pace in a busy environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to exchange information at all levels, internally and externally, and represent YBS in a credible and professional manner is important as you will be dealing with stakeholders across the business and externally. You must be able to use advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
