We’re looking for 2 x Sourcing Managers to lead strategic sourcing activity across IT/ Technology and Indirect categories here at YBS. You’ll deliver high‑quality commercial outcomes, strengthen supplier relationships, and ensure full compliance with procurement and regulatory standards. This is a hybrid role, a mix of working from home plus time in our central Leeds & Bradford offices.
About the role
- Lead sourcing projects that deliver value, reduce risk, and align with YBS policies and strategy.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify efficiencies using market insight and benchmarking.
- Provide commercial and contractual expertise across supplier onboarding, risk assessments, performance issues, benchmarking and rate card reviews.
- Conduct contract reviews to ensure strong commercial controls and risk management.
- Manage Procurement engagement requirements, ensuring clarity on total cost of ownership (TCO) and adherence to third‑party risk policies.
- Support contract governance, ensuring accurate storage, summaries and compliance with signing mandates.
About you
- Strategic sourcing or category management experience.
- Strong understanding of supplier risk, FS regulations, third‑party risk management, and supplier markets.
- Confident stakeholder engagement and strong negotiation skills.
- Experience across IT and/or Indirect categories (e.g. Hardware, Software, Marketing, HR, Operations, Property, Digital).
- Proven ability to deliver procurement savings and commercial benefits.
- Knowledge of the FS industry is desirable.
