Are you looking for your next step forward in your finance career? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Financial Accounting Team. You'll work in a high-performing environment where your technical skills are valued, your development is supported, and your work directly contributes to high-quality financial reporting and decision-making across the business. This role offers broad exposure across the business, including direct interaction with statutory directors and colleagues from a wide range of departments. This is a hybrid role, working from home along with one day per week in our central Leeds office (increasing around half-year and year-end).
About the role
As a Financial Reporting Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering our external reporting obligations and providing high-quality accounting insight to stakeholders across the organisation. You will take ownership of statutory reporting for several subsidiaries and support the preparation of the Group statutory accounts. This includes managing relationships with external auditors and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
- Prepare and submit statutory accounts for multiple subsidiaries
- Support the Group statutory accounts process and year-end timetable
- Work closely with external auditors to deliver an efficient audit
- Analyse, validate and interpret financial and performance data
- Deliver high-quality internal accounting output
- Contribute to continuous improvement across processes and reporting cycles
Beyond financial reporting, you will also have exposure to internal management accounting areas including provisions, lease accounting, interpretation of new standards, divisional reporting, and account reconciliation.
About you
We're looking for someone who is either newly qualified or an experienced Accountant (ACCA/ACA or equivalent) with a passion for high-quality reporting and a drive for improvement. You'll have:

- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively
- Proven analytical skills and accuracy when working with financial data
