An opportunity has arisen for an Analyst in our Capital Management team. Our Capital Management Analysts assist in the ongoing delivery, maintenance, and improvement of core Treasury deliverables, including capital management monthly information, capital planning and forecasting, and regulatory reporting. You’ll join our Capital Management team currently working hybrid/ flexibly in Leeds (1 day per week in the office) and remotely.
About the role
- Production of regulatory capital reporting, Pillar 3 external disclosures, as well as internal capital information reporting.
- Production of the regular capital plans and forecasts, annual Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and horizon scanning process of capital related regulation.
- Continuous development and enhancement of strong control environment for all capital management processes.
- Developing efficient ways of working.
- Enhancing analytical MI and reporting outputs, providing support to the Capital Management team (and wider stakeholder groups where appropriate).
About you
What will you bring to the role?
- Relevant qualifications, or equivalent experience, for an analytical role within banking (for example Maths, Accounting and Finance, Economics degree, or studying towards Accounting or Treasury related qualification).
- Experience of working in retail banking finance, risk or internal audit function within an area of prudential risk (capital, liquidity, market risk).
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
