About the role

Providing specialist technical expertise across AI solution design, development and deployment, supporting complex and high-impact AI initiatives. This is a hybrid role with working from home plus some onsite presence in our Bradford and central Leeds offices.

Design and implement advanced AI capabilities by contributing hands‑on to solutions involving large language models, agentic architectures, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and automation workflows. Support data science and model optimisation by assessing data readiness, evaluating model performance, and improving the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of AI outputs. Guide solution patterns and technical approaches by advising on best practices for generative AI, data‑driven intelligence, and enterprise AI architectures within the Microsoft AI ecosystem. Act as a technical authority and mentor, supporting AI Product Developers, AI Design Analysts, and AI Test Leads through guidance, coaching, and hands‑on problem solving.

About You

  • Strong experience in delivering enterprise‑grade AI solutions across multiple domains, with expertise in generative AI, agentic AI, and data‑driven intelligence.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft AI ecosystem technologies, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong practical knowledge of MLOps, model monitoring, evaluation, and lifecycle management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Capability to translate business and operational needs into working AI solutions.
  • Ability to analyse AI outputs and improve model behaviour and reliability.
  • Hands‑on experience building AI solutions using large language models, agent frameworks, and AI APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search, and retrieval optimisation.
  • Experience developing AI solutions using Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, and Copilot Studio.
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns using Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, and business applications; knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and operational support of AI systems.
  • Strong communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
