Shape how agile works in Yorkshire Building Society. This is a strategic leadership role combining agile framework ownership, coaching capability and organisational transformation, with strong executive influence. You’ll define how agile operates in practice balancing pace, control and outcomes across the enterprise.
The Chapter Lead Agile is accountable for defining and embedding the enterprise agile operating model, standards and practices, ensuring effective and scalable agile delivery across the organisation. Own and evolve the enterprise agile framework, playbooks, tooling and delivery patterns, ensuring they are practical, proportionate and aligned to a regulated environment. Use flow metrics, health indicators and delivery insight to inform prioritisation, remove systemic blockers and improve delivery performance and team effectiveness. Lead cross-functional alignment between agile delivery, governance, risk and compliance to ensure agile practices integrate effectively with control, audit and regulatory requirements.
You are a senior agile leader with experience shaping agile at enterprise scale, able to balance practical delivery with governance, assurance and organisational constraints. Significant experience leading agile capability, frameworks and coaching communities across large, complex change environments. Strong technical capability in agile methods, flow-based metrics, scaled delivery models and embedding agile ways of working within regulated organisations. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders to adopt effective agile behaviours, remove blockers and improve delivery outcomes in complex, multi-team environments.
