Overview
We\\\’re looking for a Financial Crime Data Services Lead Analyst to be the driving force behind our data-led approach to financial crime risk management. This is a high impact role where you\\\’ll lead advanced data mining, statistical analytics, and financial crime risk model development. You\\\’ll be our go to data expert, translating complex insights into actionable intelligence, optimising our systems, and helping us stay one step ahead.
This role will be based in our Bradford based Head Office, with flexible working from home capability.
About the role / what you\\\’ll be doing:
- Lead statistical analysis – as opposed to facilitate
- Present compelling MI and insights using Tableau or Power BI.
- Shape our financial crime data strategy and model governance approach.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial crime systems and controls.
- Mentor and support the development of data capabilities within the Team.
About you:
- A proactive mindset with a passion for data and innovation
- Excellent knowledge of ETL processes, using of Python or R to enable data manipulation for modelling, and the ability to carry out statistical analytics and model deployment
- Experience SAS / SQL for dealing with complex data sets / large sets of data.
- Strong experience in presenting MI using Tableau or Power BI
- An understanding of the financial services industry, markets and competitors is a bonus (but not essential).
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance, corporate governance, quality assurance and risk management
- Effective communication, engagement skills and the management of internal and external stakeholder relationships.
