Working Pattern: 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 operational days of the week including weekends)

The Role
No two days are ever the same at Fodder, and the role of Shop Supervisor is integral to the smooth running of the shop. We are looking for someone who is passionate about local food and about providing an amazing customer experience. As Fodder continues to grow, we need someone who will relish the chance to develop this role and make it their own. This is a hands-on role and will involve managing the overall daily operations of the shop and deli, ensuring efficiency and financial targets are met. The Shop Supervisor plays a key part in training the shop team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge they need to assist our customers with the amazing Yorkshire produce we sell. You’ll lead from the front, ensuring high standards of service, food safety and hygiene, stock control, and team knowledge, while promoting Fodder's ethos of showcasing Yorkshire producers.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and support the shop team members to deliver consistently exceptional customer service.
- Ensure strong product and allergen knowledge.
- Manage stock control, ordering, waste reduction and promotions.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and food hygiene.
- Work closely with other departments within Fodder.
- Handle customer queries positively to ensure satisfaction.

- Previous experience of leading a successful team.

- Experience working in a team.
