Working Pattern: 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 operational days of the week including weekends)

The Role
This is a hands‑on role and you must have the experience, energy and desire to develop this key role, as we continue to grow. To manage the overall daily operations of the shop and deli, ensuring efficiency and financial targets are met. To train and motivate the team and to ensure they are knowledgeable about the amazing Yorkshire products we serve. You'll ensure high standards of service, food safety and hygiene, stock control, and team knowledge, while promoting Fodder's ethos of showcasing Yorkshire producers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and support the shop team members to deliver consistently exceptional customer service.
- Ensure strong product and allergen knowledge.
- Manage stock control, ordering, waste reduction and promotions.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and food hygiene.
- Work closely with other departments within Fodder.
- Handle customer queries positively to ensure satisfaction.
About You
- Previous experience of leading a successful team.
- Passion for great food and Yorkshire produce.
- Strong people management and customer service skills.
- Organised, commercially aware and able to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
