This is an exciting time to join the Fodder team, as we look to develop and expand our takeaway offer. The ideal candidate will therefore have the energy and desire to help develop this key role, as we continue to grow. Helping in the overall daily operations of the Fodder Takeaway and support the Fodder Kitchen with the wider catering goals. Deliver first class Yorkshire products, whilst ensuring efficiency and financial targets are met.

Key Responsibilities
- Help run a successful takeaway unit, managing the day‑to‑day operations of a busy self‑contained unit.
- Produce top class Yorkshire food that showcases Yorkshire produce, whilst actively working to ensure quality, economical and timely food production.
- Operate to the same high levels of food production & cooking with the final product served in the prescribed manner and to Food Hygiene standards.
- Prepare and ensure hot drinks are to a high‑quality barista standard, training provided if required.
- Assist in maintaining high customer satisfaction and resolving any customer complaints where relevant.
- Ensure all Health & Safety regulations for Fodder are adhered to and followed.
- Ensure the Fodder HACCP plan is followed and complete all relevant paperwork, playing a major part in maintaining 5 stars for food hygiene standards.
- Competitively order stock, ensure regular stock rotation and control. Proactively manage wastage and find solutions to minimise across the takeaway and wider business.
- Act as a fire warden and first aider for Fodder. Training provided if needed.
- Recognise the importance of fairness and equality in the workplace, treating everyone with dignity and respect.
- Be an ambassador of the Society values.
About You
- Good level of written and verbal skills.
- Food safety level two qualification, First Aid qualification and fire marshal preferable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
