Working Pattern: 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 operational days of the week including weekends)

The Role
You will support the smooth day-to-day running of the cafe, build strong relationships with the kitchen team, and take responsibility for running shifts - sometimes independently. You'll ensure high standards of service, food safety and hygiene, stock control, and team knowledge, while promoting Fodder's ethos of showcasing Yorkshire producers. This is a hands-on role leading the front of house team, motivating staff, and ensuring every customer leaves happy. Working closely with the Catering Manager, you will help deliver outstanding food and exceptional customer service across the Fodder Kitchen (cafe) and Fodder Takeaway.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the front of house team during service
- Deliver consistently excellent customer service and food standards
- Ensure strong product, allergen and menu knowledge
- Support stock control, ordering, waste reduction and promotions
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and food hygiene
- Work closely with kitchen and management teams
- Handle customer queries positively to ensure satisfaction

About You
- Previous experience supervising or managing a cafe or restaurant
- Passion for great food and Yorkshire produce
- Strong people management and customer service skills
- Organised, commercially aware and able to work under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene (personal licence and first aid desirable)
