An exciting opportunity has arisen for the Endoscopy unit to add to their team. This is due to the increase in demand for the service and the opening of further theatre space. The job role would include being involved with patients admissions and discharges, along with assisting Endoscopists with procedures diagnostic and therapeutic. The job role comes with a full 6-12 month training package which includes completing your care certificate. You will be teamed up with a buddy who will mentor and assist you with your training throughout. Within Endoscopy you will be working within a team who will support you throughout your development with the department and encourage and support progression.
Your job role will include but not inclusive too:
- Admission of patients
- Assisting within procedure room and monitoring patient airways
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Recovering patients post procedure
- Discharging patients
