Responsibilities

  • Preparation & Cooking Tasks
  • Maintenance of Hygiene Standards
  • Food Safety, Assured Safe Catering Health and Safety Legislation
  • Follow Department procedures and good practices
  • Keeping the kitchen areas clean
  • Monitoring food temperatures as part of HACCP
  • Washing up and other general cleaning duties
  • Knowledge of Special Diets
  • Organise daily working plan prioritising
  • Reorganise menus at short notice

Qualifications

Must have a Driving Licence
Applicants must demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, initiative, strong interpersonal and organisational/time management skills. Applicants must work under pressure, prioritise workload and carry out physical tasks.
