About The Role

The Home provides both residential and dementia care in separate areas of the Home. Facilities include a residents pub, hair and beauty salons, a sweet shop, cinema, bowls green, and large gardens.
Cottingham Manor is recruiting for General Assistants (with care elements).
Benefits include:

- Shift hours: either earlies/lates – 18 or 24 hours a week (6 hours per shift)

Overview of Job Responsibilities
- Maintain health and safety standards throughout the home
- Keep the home tidy and respect residents\’ privacy and belongings
- Ensure residents\’ laundry is clean and well-maintained
- Perform general kitchen duties, including setting tables, washing up, and serving meals
- Carry out servery duties: basic meal prep, serving, and cleaning
- Deliver meals to residents\’ rooms if needed
- Assist with tea rounds, offering beverages to residents
