Day Care Assistant – Full Time

(7am-7pm shifts) This role will include some weekend work

The role of a Care Assistant is to ensure the needs of the residents are met in a person-centred way that respects their dignity and promotes independence.

It is essential that all our staff are:

Overview of Job Description:

• Provide personal care and support to residents with various health care needs, illnesses, and disabilities, as outlined in their care plans.
• Assist with serving drinks and snacks throughout the day.
• Make and change beds; tidy rooms; perform light cleaning to ensure resident comfort and maintain their home environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation regarding the care and support provided to residents.
• Act as an advocate for residents, communicating their needs and wishes to senior staff.

Pay Scale: £13.20 per hour regardless of age

£13.30 per hour with a valid NVQ in Health and Social Care

Training and support are provided to all applicants demonstrating the essential qualities, such as a positive and caring attitude, even if experience is limited.
