York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management (YTHFM) are looking for an approachable and flexible Facilities Operative to join our team in Scarborough. Experience is not necessary as full training will be given, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential.
The working pattern for this role is via a rolling rota that covers the hours that the department is operational - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Overtime/additional hours may also be available at times, for those who wish to do this.
Duties:- Linen Room - distributing and assisting with deliveries of linen
- Portering - helping with patient flow and movement of equipment around the hospital
- Domestic Duties - cleaning wards/departments and serving tea/coffee/food to patients
- Environment - removing and segregating waste
- Catering – working in the kitchen alongside the Catering team
