A leading London construction consultancy is seeking an accomplished Associate Director - Project Manager to join its growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a senior role in delivering major commercial office and regeneration projects across the capital.
You will be closely involved in a landmark transformation of a 1960s commercial high-rise, currently being redeveloped into a cutting-edge, net-zero workspace and innovation hub in London’s Knowledge Quarter. The scheme includes large-scale retrofit and partial new construction, retaining core structural elements while introducing modern, sustainable design principles such as low-carbon materials, all-electric systems, improved public realm, and community-focused spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage project delivery from feasibility through to completion, ensuring alignment with sustainability, commercial, and programme objectives.
- Oversee consultant and contractor teams across large-scale commercial office projects (new build and CAT A/CAT B fit-out).
- Contribute to major regeneration programmes involving retained structures, façade replacement, public realm enhancements, and net-zero-aligned design strategies.
- Manage client relationships at a senior level, providing strategic advice and clear reporting.
- Ensure project governance, risk management, procurement, and financial control are executed to the highest standards.
- Mentor junior team members and support wider business growth initiatives.
- Demonstrable project management experience within a construction consultancy environment is essential.
- Strong background in commercial office projects, ideally including both new-build developments and high-quality fit-out schemes.
- Experience in regeneration or complex refurbishment, ideally involving retained structures, sustainability-driven upgrades, or major façade/structural interventions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-profile schemes in central London.
- Professional qualifications (RICS, APM, MAPM or similar) are highly advantageous.
- Competitive salary £70,000-£85,000, depending on experience.
