ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR – INFRASTRUCTURE & MASTERPLAN DELIVERY
Salary: Up to £120,000
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead infrastructure and masterplan delivery projects across major development schemes. You'll work closely with developer clients on complex, large-scale projects, managing design, delivery strategy, stakeholder coordination, and programme oversight from inception through to completion. This is a role where you'll combine strategic advisory with hands-on project leadership, supporting clients through planning, enabling works, construction delivery, and operational handover.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead infrastructure and utilities delivery across masterplan-scale developments
- Advise developer clients on procurement strategy, delivery models, and risk management
- Manage contracts (JCT, NEC3) and coordinate with multiple stakeholders including councils, funders, and contractors
- Oversee programme management, cost control, and budgeting across complex portfolios
- Drive constructability strategies and logistics planning for large development sites
- Manage design coordination, building control engagement, and regulatory compliance
- Support business development and client relationship management
ABOUT YOU
- 12+ years' experience in infrastructure delivery, property development, or large-scale construction projects
- Proven track record delivering masterplan-scale developments (ideally £100m+)
- Strong background in contract management, risk management, and stakeholder coordination
- Experience working with developer clients in a consultancy or as the developer
- Expertise in areas such as infrastructure planning and delivery, pre-construction and enabling works, utilities coordination, design management and M&E coordination, programme and cost management, and health and safety oversight
