The Team

The Marketing and Digital Experience Graduate Intern will be primarily based in the Conversion Team. The Conversion team deliver a content and communications strategy which supports the undergraduate student recruitment campaign. You’ll work across email marketing using our CRM system, support the production of printed materials and support the Student Voice Ambassador project. As a Graduate Intern, you will support the Marketing and Digital Experience team in achieving the targets and objectives of the undergraduate student recruitment campaign. General administration tasks will be required to support the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain insight into marketing for the higher education sector and work with wider internal and external stakeholders.

The role

As a Graduate Intern for the Marketing and Digital Experience team we’ll want you to finish your time with us confident in:

Updating and optimising content for the website and other marketing channels

Actively participating in the development and production of marketing campaigns for undergraduate student recruitment

You will regularly work on:

The Student Voice Ambassador project, supporting the Content Officer to deliver student led content for use in a variety of campaigns across a variety of channels

Responding to general enquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner

Supporting the wider team, attending meetings and gaining experience of working in a marketing department within a university

Required skills and experience

An understanding of marketing

Experience of creating written content with clear communication of ideas and themes. This can either have been in a professional or educational setting.

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to organise own workload, deal with competing priorities and meet deadlines
