The School
Production, clustered within the School of the Arts, is an ambitious and growing academic unit. With the expansion of our BJTC-accredited undergraduate programmes in journalism, sports journalism and across broadcast media, we\’re looking to recruit a journalist/news producer with relevant teaching experience.
Required Skills And Experience
The successful candidate will have experience working in sports journalism, preferably within broadcast sports journalism. They will already have teaching experience, preferably within HE, and have a compassionate approach to student learning. The successful candidate is expected to have exemplarily communication skills, written and verbal.
It is important that candidates have a strong understanding of media law and ethics, and an awareness of and willingness to engage with emerging new content platforms and delivery techniques.
They will have a flexible and professional approach to working as part of a small team and a commitment to the social justice values of the university.
