The Team
The Catering department supplies and delivers all aspects of catering, which includes the day-to-day running of all catering outlets on campus serving students, staff and visitors. Providing catering for hospitality and events to internal and external customers.
The role
The team is looking for a Catering Team Leader Hospitality to join our Catering management team to lead the University hospitality provision, support the management team in leading and training a team in all aspects of catering, food safety and H&S. Have an adaptable approach to the role and be able to liaise with students, staff and visitors and have previous customer service experience within a hospitality environment which is essential for this role.
Required skills and experience
- Previous experience working within a catering hospitality environment and experience of leading a team is essential.
- IT literate, be confident using a range of programmes including email, word and excel.
- A good knowledge of hospitality booking systems would be desirable, but not essential as training would be given.
Additional information
The flexibility of start and finish times are a requirement for this role, and you will be required to work evenings and weekends as required.
It is anticipated that the selection process will include an interview. Further details will be provided if you are shortlisted for interview.
