We are looking for a qualified Dental Nurse ready to step into a Lead Nurse role within a modern, fully private dental practice focused on high standards of care, prevention, and patient experience. This is not just a chairside role. It is an opportunity to take ownership of clinical standards, compliance, and team leadership, while continuing to work clinically.

The Role

  • Chairside support across a range of high-quality treatments (general, orthodontics, implants, and aesthetics)
  • Lead on clinical compliance and governance (approx. half a day per week dedicated time)
  • Oversee and maintain CQC, HTM, and cross-infection control standards
  • Manage and maintain clinical documentation, audits, and compliance systems
  • Support training and development of the nursing team
  • Ensure surgeries are fully prepared, organised, and run efficiently
  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience through clear communication and support

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Dental Nurse (GDC registered)
  • Previous experience in a senior or lead nurse role OR strong ambition to step up
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident managing compliance responsibilities and protocols
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, professional manner
  • Proactive mindset — someone who takes ownership rather than waits for instruction
  • Familiarity with Dentally (advantageous, not essential)

What We Offer

  • A structured role with clear leadership responsibility
  • Dedicated time for compliance work (not expected to “fit it in” around clinics)
  • Supportive, forward-thinking environment with a strong focus on quality
  • Opportunity to grow within a practice that values standards, systems, and development

Hours & Salary

  • 5 days per week + 1 Saturday per month
  • Salary dependent on experience and leadership capability

We are a fully private, prevention-led practice focused on high clinical standards and patient experience rather than volume. We offer a supportive, growth-driven environment with structured roles, ongoing training, and fully funded team events outside of work, alongside the practical benefit of on-site parking. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership, develop their role, and be part of a progressive, quality-focused team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £14.00-£15.50 per hour

Benefits:

  • Company events
  • Employee discount

  • Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Valid GDC registration (preferred)
