York Hospital is seeking a Monitor Technician to join our Medical Surgical Team!

Primary Responsibilities include:

1. Continuous observation, interpretation, and documentation of ECG data of monitored patients.
2. Report arrhythmias and significant variances of heart rates and rhythms to the patient\’s nurse.
3. Assists with admitting/discharging patients within the telemetry system.
4. Monitors normal and variant cardiac rates and rhythms.
5. Telemetry system troubleshooting and maintenance.
6. Assist nurses with patient movement and EKGs.
7. Clerical, chart maintenance, supply orders, and any other duties as needed.

Requirements:

1. Minimum (1) or more years of relevant healthcare experience.
2. Excellent customer service/bedside skills.
3. Computer skills are a must.
