About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics tutor to join our team, focusing on GCSE classes for 16‑18‑year‑old students. Your guidance will play a vital role in helping students progress towards their future goals.

About the person

  • Strong foundation in Mathematics, holding at least a Level 3 qualification; a relevant degree or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) is desirable, or readiness to work towards one with support.
  • Experience delivering GCSE Mathematics, ideally within a further education setting.
  • Familiarity with the new 9–1 GCSE Mathematics specification and experience teaching Level 1 & 2 Functional Skills (post‑2019) to diverse learners.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, and a strong commitment to teamwork and student success.
