The post is for 36 full weeks per year, commencing the first week of September. Working days are Monday to Friday. Usual hours are 11:00‑2:30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and 10:30‑2:30 pm on Wednesdays; flexibility is required.
About the role: We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join the College’s busy commercial catering outlets. The role involves serving customers, operating the till, preparing food, replenishing stock, and ensuring equipment and premises are cleaned to a high standard. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a busy environment and as part of a team.
About the person: Highly reliable, a great team player with a positive can‑do attitude and a flexible approach to work. Experience of food preparation and working in a catering environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Passion for delivering friendly and efficient customer service is required. Full uniform is provided.
