Overview

We are looking for a talented individual to join our Development Team to provide second line support for our electronic patient systems. With the continued drive towards electronic patient records this is a great opportunity to join our team. Our applications are used by clinicians across the organisation to support the safe delivery of clinical care and support the administrative requirements of the organisation and have technical interfaces to other systems.

You will be responsible for the triaging, actively engaged in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. You will have a good knowledge of information systems and an understanding of the software development process. You will be experienced in the use of SQL and have excellent communications and analytical skills. This is a key position within our team, providing technical support to our service users and colleagues within the York and Scarborough Digital Team. It is an opportunity to develop your skills working within our established and experienced Development Team.

Candidates will be qualified to degree level or equivalent level or have relevant experience, have excellent customer service skills and must be able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide second line support for electronic patient systems.
  • Triaging and actively troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of information systems and understanding of the software development process.
  • Utilise SQL and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Degree level or equivalent level or relevant experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
