The York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority was established in 2024 and is a public sector organisation with the powers and funding to improve transport, support housing delivery, boost skills, grow the economy and help the region transition to net zero. The Mayor also has responsibilities for Policing, Fire and Crime. You will play a key role in developing and delivering innovative programmes that inspire behaviour change, create lasting partnerships and support the Mayor's vision for active travel. Through your work, you will help create environments where active travel is the natural choice for everyday journeys and contribute to making York and North Yorkshire one of the best places in the country for people of all ages to walk, wheel and cycle.
