Leveson Centre Assistant
York Against Cancer is looking for an organised, adaptable and compassionate individual to support people affected by cancer at our Leveson Centre.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the delivery of the centre’s holistic support services, such as:
- weekly coffee mornings and a wellbeing choir
- complementary therapies
- pilates and yoga classes
- advice on benefits and welfare from Citizens Advice
- specialist psychological support for young people affected by cancer
- providing a warm, welcoming “home‑from‑home” environment for patients, families and friends.
