Reporting to the Revenue Growth & Strategy Manager, the position provides analytical, data‑driven insight and operational support to help optimise pricing, promotions, pack architecture, and channel performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical support on pricing, pack architecture, promotions, and customer investment.
- Monitor category, customer, and competitor data to identify risks, opportunities and trends.
- Deliver monthly revenue performance dashboards and reporting, highlighting key drivers of growth and profitability.
- Support the execution of RGM initiatives within Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and customer reviews.
- Contribute to channel‑specific analysis (e.g., Discounters, Convenience, eCommerce, Wholesale) to inform strategic choices.
- Assist in building compelling commercial presentations and business cases for internal and customer use.
- Provide data and insight to support innovation launches and portfolio optimisation.
- Work with Finance to track promotional ROI and ensure investment decisions are aligned to growth objectives.
- Support the Manager in identifying portfolio gaps, white space opportunities and pricing strategies.
- Partner with Category and Marketing teams to bring shopper and consumer insight into RGM recommendations.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain on demand planning inputs and implications of commercial decisions.
- Provide ad‑hoc analysis and scenario modelling to support business planning cycles.
Position Criteria:
- Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
- Previous experience in FMCG, retail or a commercial/analytical role desirable (placement year, internship or 1‑2 years' experience).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate into actionable insights.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets; experience with Power BI or similar tools advantageous.
- Experience working with market data (e.g., Nielsen).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Ambitious, proactive and eager to learn, with a strong interest in building a career in FMCG commercial strategy.
