The charity YOPEY has launched a volunteering opportunity called Independent YOPEY Befriender and our website yopey.org has been redesigned to promote it. We now need a Search Engine Optimiser to improve its search engine rankings.
What difference will you make?
Help YOPEY Befriender reach more people. If successful, we will explore offering Independent YOPEY Befriender to the Government to roll out to every school in the UK.
What are we looking for?
Experience in achieving positive results in SEO.
What will you be doing?
To be honest, SEO is a mystery to YOPEY\\\'s small staff (one person) and trustees (five people). We know what we want—more people, particularly young people, to see our website yopey.org and engage with it. Our primary aim is to recruit more young people to join as YOPEY Befrienders through the site, including paying a joining fee. We have run the YOPEY Dementia Befriender Community Partnerships for 12 years in the East of England. We have often had applicants from outside this region, and we want to welcome them. You will help us improve awareness and engagement so that young people can join, learn new skills for life, and enhance their life chances. By increasing awareness of yopey.org, we can better achieve our mission of helping today\\\'s young people become better people.
