To support our Site Trading Management team, we are searching for a Head of Site Trading to be based in our London - Westfield office. This role is accountable for the commercial performance of the digital storefront, leading the strategy and execution of site trading, product merchandising, catalogue optimisation and promotional delivery to maximise customer engagement and commercial performance. Reporting into the Site Trading Director and working in partnership with Buying & Merchandising, User Journey, Analytics, Marketing and Technology teams.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Lead, coach and inspire the Site Trading team, developing Senior Merchandisers into strategic commercial leaders who drive innovation, accountability and continuous improvement across their departments.
- Define and evolve the site trading strategy, ensuring product discovery, category merchandising and storytelling work together to deliver an engaging and commercially effective customer experience.
- Own the structure of the digital storefront, including category hierarchy, product listing pages, product detail pages, filters and catalogue organisation, balancing customer shopping behaviour with commercial priorities.
- Partner closely with Buying & Merchandising to translate trading priorities, inventory opportunities and seasonal strategies into compelling onsite experiences that maximise product visibility and performance.
- Own the execution of all promotional activity across the site, ensuring campaigns launch accurately, on time and in line with commercial objectives.
- Own the evolution of the digital catalogue and website experience, ensuring products are launched accurately and efficiently while maintaining catalogue integrity, taxonomy, attributes, filtering and catalogue quality to support both the customer and the wider business.
- Use customer behaviour, trading performance and analytics to optimise engagement, product discovery and commercial outcomes.
- Build strong partnerships across Buying & Merchandising, Marketing, Product and Technology, acting as the voice of onsite trading to ensure customer behaviour informs commercial decision-making.
- Commercial performance (Sales, Conversion Rate and Revenue).
- Customer engagement across PLPs and PDPs.

- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams, coaching senior leaders to think strategically and take ownership.
- Strong understanding of customer behaviour and the ability to balance commercial objectives with an exceptional customer experience.
- Highly analytical, confident using data and behavioural insight to inform trading decisions and prioritisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience partnering across Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, Product, Technology and Analytics.
- Strong organisational and operational leadership, capable of balancing strategic initiatives with the pace of day-to-day trading.
