MR PORTER is now seeking a talented Assistant Merchandiser to join the team. Key details include: Location: Our Westfield office in London Reporting to: Merchandiser Besides a competitive salary, we offer: Performance bonus schemes based on role A pension with contributions from you and the company A portal with discounts on theme park and cinema tickets Staff discounts and exclusive sales Private healthcare for you and your family Flexible working arrangements A supportive, fun, and caring team Responsibilities include: Assist the Merchandising team to achieve seasonal sales and profit targets based on business plans Collaborate with the Buying team to establish merchandise ranges suited to regional customer profiles, making recommendations to maximize sales and profit Analyze weekly departmental performance to take trading actions and maximize profits Forecast sales and manage department WSSI, reporting to Merchandising Coordinate with the MAA on stock intake, ensuring timely deliveries and stock optimization Represent the Merchandiser in internal and external trading and planning meetings Communicate clearly with your team to ensure alignment on department goals Prepare weekly performance reports and insights to inform strategy Assist in range planning to ensure a balanced and strategic product mix Complete seasonal markdowns to maximize margins while remaining competitive Develop team members through coaching and training opportunities Monitor and review team performance, including appraisals Ideal candidate profile: Relevant experience in fashion retail merchandising, preferably in the luxury sector Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency Commercial awareness and understanding of the market and products Ability to build relationships across teams and functions Attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy Excellent work ethic and multitasking ability Strong communication skills From the moment you join YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP, we aim to make your journey inspiring and evolutionary.
