THE OUTNET are now seeking a talented Website Merchandiser to join the Site Trading team. Some of the essentials for you to know are:

Role Purpose: The Website Merchandiser is responsible for maximizing and maintaining product exposure on THE OUTNET website. Reporting to the Site Trading Manager, the successful applicant will be based in our London office and will be responsible for the representation, classification, visual merchandising and promotion of all products across THE OUTNET website.
Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
- Work with global Merchandising, Marketing & Creative departments to help manage product exposure to maximise sales
- Help support and drive The Outnet’s product merchandising strategy
- Ensure all newly uploaded products are satisfactorily represented on a global scale
- Monitor performance of categories and drive through improvements in classifications and navigation
- Update, maintain and merchandise edited custom lists of product for our permanent occasion and trend sections
- Fully support localised marketing activity and seasonal product selection for both onsite and offsite marketing activities
- Assist in the development of a differentiated customer experience across devices and explore new opportunities to drive revenue
- Report on the KPIs to monitor performance of the website merchandising activity and inform future activity
- Work closely with Technology to help develop web merchandising, navigation and sales tools, acting as a stakeholder for various site sections
- Maintain records and filing of on-site merchandising activities
- Monitor the website daily, across multiple devices, facilitating the quick and efficient resolution of any errors
- Maintain and develop excellent relationships with other teams within the business and with counterparts across the group
- Manage Assistant Product Merchandisers with responsibility for their development
- Support the team with BAU activity as required
- Other duties as called upon
The type of person we are looking for:
- Proven experience in Visual merchandising/styling
- Proven experience in an E-commerce environment, with a strong understanding of digital environments including website taxonomy & usability
- Proven experience in developing strong relationships with other teams, including senior management
- An in depth knowledge of luxury fashion brands, including previous and current collections
- Highly commercially aware, with creative flair and love of the luxury fashion product
- Proactive and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve the Outnet offering
- A keen eye for detail across both quantitative and qualitative data
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) including timely response to queries
- Proficient in Excel and all MS Office Suite
- Ability to identify problems, demonstrate use of initiative and implement appropriate solutions
- Excellent work ethos and good timekeeping
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Aware of developments in the industry and applicable to the business
