Role purpose: Reporting into the Site Trading Director, we are looking for an exceptional Site Trading Manager to lead and define innovative trading strategies that maximise our business tools, elevate the customer experience, and drive commercial performance. This role is a significant step up for experienced Trading Managers looking to make a strategic impact. You will own the online customer journey across all site categories—including RTW, Bags, Shoes, and Jewellery—and manage a team of trading specialists. Your leadership will influence cross-functional teams, ensuring that every touchpoint is optimised for relevance, engagement, and revenue growth.
Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a forward-thinking online trading strategy, leveraging data, user intent, and business intelligence to optimise performance.
- Customer Journey & Experience: Own the global browse and purchase experience, ensuring seamless progression from PLPs to PDPs while optimising conversion, AOV, and add-to-bag rates.
- Data-Led Decision Making: Use GA4, ContentSquare, and advanced analytics to continuously improve product discovery, engagement, and purchase behaviour. Influence roadmap priorities to enhance site experience.
- Business & Trading Influence: Act as the lead voice for site trading in senior business meetings, partnering with Buying, Merchandising, Growth, Marketing, and Analytics teams to align commercial and customer goals.
- Site Optimisation & Innovation: Champion the effective use of trading tools to drive engagement and revenue. Lead with a curated point of view, ensuring our luxury multi-brand experience remains best-in-class. Define and drive A/B testing strategies to support strategic pillars.
- Promotional & Event Planning: Own the execution of key trading events, ensuring seamless coordination across departments and delivering impactful customer experiences.
- Forecasting & Performance Tracking: Align with Growth teams to forecast traffic, AOV, and CVR, while also setting behavioural KPIs including add-to-bag rate, PLP click-through and browse depth within the shop.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Content, CRM, and UX teams to ensure that site content and messaging reflect trading insights, customer trends, and business priorities.
- People Leadership: Manage, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of 10, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and strategic thinking.
