NET-A-PORTER are now seeking a commercially minded Site Analyst who turns complex user behaviour data into clear, actionable insights. Reporting into the Site Trading Director, this role is both technical and strategic.

You will maintain and build the team’s reporting suite across Looker Studio and Power BI, ensure tracking of all relevant events is accurate, and proactively uncover trends in customer behaviour. Measures of success have evolved past conversion rates and traffic volumes, with a deeper focus on creating desire and engagement, that drives not only an intent to purchase but also discover new products. The NET-A-PORTER team aim to understand what users are looking for through data, so we can meet those needs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the GA4 and Looker Studio/Power BI super user, building and maintaining reports that the site trading and content teams can self-serve
  • Conduct daily site walks to proactively spot breaks, missing events, or tracking issues, and raise tickets to ensure fixes are implemented.
  • Analyse micro-conversions (frequency, active time, CTR, ATB, ATW) modeling browse engagement and intent to purchase
  • Go beyond isolated KPIs and connect behaviour end-to-end to demonstrate the lower funnel impact of upper funnel content and messaging by user segments
  • Deliver deep dives on our acquisition and first time buyers, to shape them into loyal and high value customers
  • Measure the impact of new product releases to drive frequency and urgency to convert providing recommendations for key channels like PPC and CRM
  • Partner with the Implementation team to ensure tracking and analytics fully capture the KPIs needed to drive trading decisions.
  • Champion a culture of self-serve reporting and data-driven decision making across the team

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in GA4, Looker Studio and Power BI, including event tracking, report building, and analytics implementation.
  • Strong ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data and turn it into clear narratives
  • Commercial experience working with business, trading, content, or ecommerce teams
  • High attention to detail in data inconsistencies and the application of data structures to the business users
  • Proactive, agile, and able to work in a fast-paced environment that is customer-first.
  • Knowledge of Content Square, Tableau or Databricks is highly desirable#
