Overview

You will be passionate about building long lasting relationships with our EIPs (Extremely Important People), always looking for new opportunities to elevate our EIPs\' client experience, as well as driving the overall client acquisition, retention and conversion strategy. You will also be responsible for creatively leveraging third-party business relationships and contacts to drive the business performance and growth of the NET-A-PORTER Group client list.

Location: Our Westfield office in London. Hours: 37.5 hours weekly (4 days in office).

Responsibilities

  • With the support of the Head of Client Relations; define and implement the Client Relations strategy in the region with a view to accelerate recruitment of high potential prospects and increase retention of existing EIPs for NET-A-PORTER.
  • Be an ambassador for the Client Relations team in the region, and have up to date awareness and knowledge on our top EIPs.
  • Develop a strong follow-up and ownership of a customer journey to ensure every potential client is converted into an EIP, supporting the Personal Shopping teams to take this forward.
  • Work closely with the Personal Shopping Manager to establish successful approaches to closing sales opportunities at events in different markets for NET-A-PORTER.
  • Manage and grow the Style Council programme in key focus and high potential regions.
  • Monitor and develop KPI\'s for the Client Relations team, these will be based around Retention, Acquisition and Conversion.
  • Propose specific action plans to improve performance and establish the business as leaders within luxury client relations.
  • Perform client insights/analysis through the relevant reporting platforms to make business recommendations and improvements.
  • Manage budget and cost control, ensuring that they are all up to date and in line with business expectations.
  • Assess the potential for true EIP acquisition and potential partnerships opportunities externally and via Marketing and PR.
  • Evolve a network of key partners to collaborate on a series of small scale, personal and intimate activities that focus on quality leads over quantity.
  • Supervise recruitment, evaluation and development of direct reports, maximising individual potential and ensuring succession plans of their career development is in place.
  • Coach the Personal Shoppers to maximise engagement opportunity with new EIPs and potential EIPs.
  • Previous managerial experience within client relations or events management function- ideally luxury fashion.
  • Proven experience of proactively growing a luxury client base.
  • Experience managing budgets and providing timely performance reports.
  • Strong computer literacy with a focus on Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Enthusiastic leader with a proactive attitude and a drive to succeed.
  • Naturally sociable character and have ability to socialize with different types of client.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral - additional languages are desired).
  • Understanding of the luxury consumer and their needs and expectations.
  • The flexibility to travel extensively.
  • A focus on quality and an evident passion for the NET-A-PORTER product and service.
  • A detailed and organised way of working.
