Our mission is to create spaces where genuine connection, focus, and creativity can flourish in the absence of technology. Yondr's business segments span numerous industries, primarily across education and live events. Yondr supports schools through cell phone-free programs. Our education programs facilitate the successful implementation of phone-free school environments by providing administrators and teachers with education, training, and development resources, along with all necessary equipment. In addition, Yondr supports top artists in music and comedy by creating phone-free shows, allowing performers and audience members to enjoy live performances without the distraction of phones.

SUMMARY

Yondr is seeking a hands-on strategic marketing manager to execute and support our growing Educational division. This candidate will support the adoption of Yondr's K-12 phone-free program into schools and continue to champion the brand mission. This role will have a hyper focus on International markets including Europe, Australia and other key markets globally. This candidate will support the planning and execution of fully integrated, multi-channel campaigns for the education sector, keeping in mind regional nuances and major tentpole moments in the industry. They will work closely with the sales organization to create and build demand, work cross-functionally with brand, communications and performance marketing teams and agencies to ensure brand consistency across all B2B education marketing campaigns. This role will have a keen understanding and curiosity of global markets and cultural nuances, and be able to adapt and evolve plans across different audiences. Reporting to the Marketing Director, Education, they will be a champion of the brand, helping to shape and build brand awareness and perception of Yondr in the international education marketplace. This candidate will have a broad understanding of marketing as a whole and has experience across various marketing touchpoints, particularly in the B2B and Education spaces.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market-level strategy development, supporting the execution of cohesive marketing plans and campaigns to support The Yondr Program in schools, targeting key international markets.
  • Localize global tools and assets as required to meet regional and cultural requirements.
  • Optimize and adapt marketing plans and campaigns based on key learnings, real-time results and industry research.
  • Develop superior sales enablement tools, working closely with sales leaders to provide the right tools and templates.
  • Execute market research and consumer insights to understand industry and cultural specific marketing trends and opportunities to ensure Yondr stays the true pioneer in the phone-free space and remains competitive and innovative.
  • Support B2B Educational events and conferences in key international markets that drive awareness, demand and sales in key regions.
  • Project manage international marketing plans, maintaining deadlines and timelines, communicating across departments, to key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Measure and report on campaign performance, implementing new learnings as required and using insights to improve.
  • Constantly raise the bar for the brand and our efforts in education, bringing innovation and creativity to ensure a consistent brand voice.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely and strategically with Communications and the PR Agency to support PR angles and initiatives to help drive heat and awareness of The Yondr Program in key markets.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing on international specific campaigns to support the business in key markets.
  • Brief and partner with creative services to build necessary brand tools and collateral for international marketing efforts.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Partner Success teams to align and support business priorities.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
  • 5 to 7+ years in marketing, preferably in education, at a brand or agency.
  • Solid experience in international marketing strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized project manager, savvy with tools such as Asana.
  • Creative, innovative and analytical, understanding the blend of art and science - championing the important balance of performance, brand and product marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in developing and interpreting marketing metrics and KPIs.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with budget tracking and day-to-day budget management.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit that can thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Collaborative team player who can work cross-functionally within marketing, and across key departments such as Sales, Product.
  • Passion and curiosity for education, phone-free spaces and responsible use of technology, driving meaning and purpose in a highly cluttered and distracting digital landscape.
