About the Role

A very exciting opportunity for a finance role within the business. The role will provide support in relation to end to end responsibility for operating companies (“opcos”) with the region, including financial reporting and analysis to EMEA regional finance.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Perform all related accounting functions associated with opcos, including account reconciliation and financial statements.
  2. Assist in the month end closing and management of accounts.
  3. Ensure accurate and timely calculation, posting and invoicing of group recharges.
  4. Perform monthly variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  5. Ensure the accounting policy applied is correct for all entities and consistent per the Group Reporting framework.
  6. Manage various third parties, including auditors and outsourced services.
  7. Interface and collaborate with other departments on monthly draws, cash management, tax filings, along with other items.
  8. Support the Financial Controller with activities as required.
  9. Perform ad hoc tasks and assist with the property companies and asset/site management where required.
  10. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports.
  11. Actively be visible to the group functions, acting as the go-to contact for the opcos.
  12. Ensure accurate and timely posting of staff costs.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA).
  2. 3-4+ years of experience working in a finance role.
  3. Strong presentation, analytical skills, people management, communication and organization skills.
  4. Self-motivator, problem solver, able to provide recommendations and solutions to challenges.
  5. A self-starter who is able to plan, organize and take initiatives to meet job objectives and deadlines independently.
  6. Detail oriented, methodical, and conscientious.
  7. Ability to interact with people at all levels.
  8. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Strong quality control bias, problem solver.
  10. Organizational and time management skills; adhere to strict deadlines.
