What’s Yonder? Yonder is a VC backed business building the financial membership of the future. Starting with a credit card that has fun and experiences at its core, we're the antithesis to your dad's stuffy, corporate, boring credit card. Whilst tech is revolutionising the finance industry, credit is still stuck in the Stone Age. We want to create a world where financial services are fair and conscious, and the stress of debt is eliminated for everyone. We raised £23.4M in September 2024 to grow the team, launch even better rewards, and expand beyond the UK. If that sounds good to you, you’ll probably like it here.
Sounds cool. What’s my part in this? We've built a large and growing partner book spanning dining, shopping and travel, championing brands our members genuinely love and use. But having great partners is only half the story. The other half is making sure those partnerships are performing, growing, and delivering real value on both sides. We're looking for a Partner Success Manager to own that second half. This isn't a traditional account management job - you'll need sharp commercial judgement and a genuine appetite to upsell, building systems to measure health scoring, and enable you to proactively spot signals that a partner is underperforming and knowing exactly what to do about it. You'll be close to the data, close to the partners, and close to the product.
Here's what that looks like in practice:
- Performance management - Monitoring partners and stepping in proactively to improve total spend through offer structure and placement strategy.
- Retention & expansion - Owning renewals, rebooking and upsell conversations; turning a one-campaign partner into a long-term relationship.
- Structured coverage - Segmenting the partner book by engagement level so your effort goes where it drives the most return.
- Onboarding - Making sure new partners go live quickly in a way that drives real member engagement from day one.
- Case studies - Building proof points that improve sales conversion and help us win more of the right partners.
We're looking for someone that:
- Has experience in account management, partner success or a similar relationship-driven commercial role. You know what it takes to retain and grow a book of partners - and you're energised by it, not just going through the motions.
- Is data-literate and commercially curious. You're comfortable reading performance data and forming a view on what to do next. You don't need someone to tell you a partner is underperforming - you can see it, and you know how to respond.
- Understands the hospitality or dining space (or is genuinely excited to). A big part of this book is dining. Familiarity with how restaurants and independent venues think about marketing, footfall and spend will help you hit the ground running.
- Is obsessed with partner outcomes. You understand that a partner who doesn't see value will leave - and that's bad for members, bad for the business, and bad for the Yonder brand. You'll advocate internally, push back when needed, and roll up your sleeves to make things work.
- Thrives with ownership and autonomy. There's no playbook handed to you on day one. You'll help define how this function works. That's exciting to you, not daunting.
- Preferred: Has a background in F&B: A lot of our partner book lives in this world, so knowing how restaurants and venues think about footfall, spend and loyalty is a real advantage. That said, it's not a dealbreaker - what matters most is that you're curious about the space and excited to learn it fast.
What’s it like working at Yonder?
- We’re office-first, remote-friendly. We’re based in our Hoxton office, complete with a terrace, breakfast, coffee (from a barista), dogs, beer taps and plenty of comfortable space to do your best work. We ask you to come into the office at least 3 days a week, with everyone coming in on Mondays.
- We take a values-led approach. Our principles are incredibly important to us, so we recommend you check them out here: Our DNA.
- We take development really seriously. We have a pretty structured process for progression, with fortnightly one-on-ones and quarterly peer perspectives. We also take some time at the end of each week to reflect and celebrate what we’ve learned and achieved.
What’s in it for me?
- £51,397 - £67,881 annual salary depending on experience.
- £27,215 - £39,578 stock options.
- 35 holidays (27 days annual leave + 8 days public leave).
- 2x team-building offsites per year (1 in the UK, 1 abroad).
- Private healthcare with Bupa.
- Up to 12 weeks enhanced parental leave after being with Yonder for 1 year.
- Learning & training allowance (£750/year) that you can use on books, courses, etc.
- Regular team breakfasts and lunch.
- Regular team events like Mini-golf, Escape Room, Cocktail making.
- Cycle-to-work scheme.
- Fresh pour-over coffee made by our very own CEO, Tim.
What’s the interview process like?
We take the candidate experience really seriously, so we've made the process as transparent as possible. We promise to be super responsive, and will never leave you wondering where you stand.
- Stage 1 - Intro call (45 mins): You'll have an initial Zoom call with Kirk (VP Partnerships) to find out more about you and to tell you more about us.
- Stage 2 - Case interview (60 mins): You'll be given a take-home task, which you'll share back on the call. This is designed for us to understand how you think about partner performance and relationship management.
- Stage 3 - Face-to-face interview (2 hours): Two 60-minute interviews to learn more about how you work - a great chance to meet the rest of the team. Includes an Experience interview (with the partnerships team) and a Values interview (two people from our wider team) - we’ll ask you questions related to our principles (Our DNA), plus a 15-minute comfort break in between.
- Stage 4 - We’ll also do a reference check - ideally with a previous manager on the phone.
- Stage 5 - Offer: If everyone's happy, we'll make you an offer. We aim to give you a decision between each stage within 24 hours where possible.
A few other things to know: We love closing the feedback loop - you can opt into feedback at every stage. We must complete right-to-work and criminal background checks for every new Yonder-er, and we also do reference checks, ideally with your most recent manager. We like to move quickly at Yonder, so we will be ready to onboard you once the above checks are complete - the entire process can take between 2 - 6 weeks. We know that diverse teams build better products. If you’re from an under-represented community, we’d especially love to hear from you. Even if you don’t feel 100% qualified, please do apply anyway. Your attitude and desire to grow are just as important as your experience.
