The Performance Marketing Manager will cover the Senior Performance Marketing Lead during maternity leave on a 12‑month contract, reporting to Shanice, VP Marketing. This role focuses on paid media strategy, budget ownership, campaign optimisation, landing page design, agency management, reporting, and collaboration across marketing, product, finance and legal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run Meta end-to-end in-house: campaign setup, audience strategy, creative testing, optimisation and reporting.
  • Operate across TikTok, Google and Meta, making the case for each channel fit.
  • Own paid budgets of £500k–£1.5m per year, making strategic spend decisions and reporting to Finance.
  • Optimise for revenue, lifetime value and payback period, not just cost‑per‑lead.
  • Build and test landing pages, ensuring a smooth journey from click to card application.
  • Stay updated on platform changes, algorithms and new creative formats.
  • Manage day‑to‑day agency relationship, brief clearly and enforce quality standards.
  • Work closely with Creative, Content, PR and Designers to align paid and organic assets.
  • Own weekly performance reports across all paid channels, making data‑driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with leadership on commercial cases for spend and budget allocation.
  • Navigate the constraints of marketing a regulated financial product, especially credit advertising.
  • Understand the entire funnel, from ad scroll to post‑click customer experience.

Requirements

  • Expert‑level Meta experience – set up, structure and optimise campaigns yourself.
  • Experience across Meta, TikTok and Google – with receipts.
  • Proven optimisation to revenue and LTV, understanding payback period.
  • Budget management experience (£500k–£1.5m).
  • App‑first and web‑to‑app experience, including handoff to onboarding.
  • MMP and attribution experience (Singular).
  • Strong data analytics capability – independently draw insights from dashboards.
  • Full funnel understanding – from scroll to install.
  • Brand‑side experience – in‑house creative capability.
  • AI native – use AI to accelerate and refine work.

Preferred

  • Marketing of regulated financial products (credit cards, lending) and understanding of compliance constraints.
  • Direct agency relationship ownership experience.
  • CRM or lifecycle marketing experience – post‑sign‑up behaviour.
  • Familiarity with creative and landing page A/B testing.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary: £47,808 – £62,369, depending on experience.
  • Stock options: £31,307 – £51,327.
