About Yonda
Yonda is a fast-growing tax technology company helping businesses navigate global VAT and sales tax compliance. We combine smart software with operational rigour to give our clients clarity in complex regulatory environments. We are post Series A and growing quickly, with customers across multiple markets and a team that is scaling to match.
The Role
As we scale, we are investing in the operational infrastructure to support that growth. This role sits at the centre of that effort, responsible for identifying inefficiencies across the business, redesigning processes to be more consistent and scalable, and measuring the impact of those improvements over time. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently across multiple workstreams, from filing operations to internal tooling and workflow design. This is a hands-on role: you will be expected to own work end-to-end, not manage others doing it. You will report to the VP of Operations and work closely with senior leadership and the founding team.
What You’ll Do
- Audit and redesign operational processes across the business from client onboarding and filing workflows to internal tooling and reporting
- Create clear, usable process documentation that teams can follow
- Use data to diagnose where processes are breaking down, prioritise where to focus, and demonstrate the impact of changes over time
- Build measurement frameworks to track efficiency improvements and demonstrate impact over time
- Lead and manage operational projects end-to-end, keeping stakeholders aligned and timelines on track
- Identify where automation and tooling can replace manual effort; implement it or work closely with the tech team to get it built
- Proactively identify and prioritise operational pain points across teams before they become bigger problems
- Work closely with other departments to understand their operational needs and improve cross-functional workflows
What We’re Looking For
- Experience taking unstructured or ad-hoc processes and redesigning them into something consistent and scalable, ideally in a fast-moving company environment
- Strong process documentation and design skills; able to make complex workflows clear and usable
- A measurement mindset: you define how you’ll know something worked before you start, and you follow up to check
- Solid project management, comfortable managing multiple workstreams and keeping stakeholders informed
- Confident with technology: able to implement tools, build workflows, and understand how systems connect, without necessarily writing code
- Happy working as an individual contributor; you don’t need direct reports to do meaningful work
- Backgrounds in operations, business analysis, process improvement, or consulting
