Yonda is growing and is seeking a Business Analyst with 1–2 years of experience to support process improvement and automation initiatives. You will work closely with operational teams to understand and document manual processes, helping identify opportunities for simplification and automation. As Yonda scales, your work will support the development of more efficient, technology-enabled workflows across the business.
The Opportunity
This role provides strong exposure to both operational and technical teams. You’ll develop your documentation, analysis and project management skills while learning how technology can transform manual operational processes. Your work will help create scalable, repeatable ways of working as Yonda continues to grow. Full training will be provided on Yonda’s platform and relevant tax/VAT concepts where helpful.
What you’ll do
- Carry out deep-dive reviews of manual operational processes, documenting steps, pain points and opportunities for optimisation.
- Produce clear, structured documentation including process maps, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and workflow diagrams.
- Support requirements gathering through stakeholder interviews, workshops and observation.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate process insights into actionable requirements.
- Assist with project coordination — maintaining timelines, tracking tasks, preparing materials and ensuring stakeholders remain aligned.
- Support testing activities, including preparing test cases and assisting with UAT.
- Monitor progress across workstreams and surface risks or blockers early.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation efforts across the organisation.
Who you are
- 1–2 years’ experience in a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst or similar role focused on process documentation or improvement.
- Strong documentation ability — able to create clear, structured and accurate requirements, process maps and supporting materials.
- Solid project coordination or project management skills, including managing timelines, tasks and stakeholder follow-ups.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex processes into understandable components.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience using tools such as Notion or similar.
- Familiarity with process mapping or requirements-gathering practices.
- Interest in automation or operational efficiency.
- Interest in tax, VAT or accounting processes.
