The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
We are seeking a level 3 (or equivalent) qualified Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our clients busy main dealership in Milton Keynes.
This is a fast-paced environment where you will be part of the team reporting to the Aftersales Manager.
You’ll be putting your technical expertise to great use with work ranging from routine service and maintenance to solving complex technical problems.
Unusually for our industry, the structure and workflows across their businesses mean that we can offer this role with NO REQUIREMENT FOR WEEKEND WORKING.

Typically, on any given weekday, as a Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic you’ll be:
- Completing scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Undertaking diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues
- Conducting electronic visual health checks (eHVC) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers
- Liaising directly with customers and service advisors, providing outstanding customer service
- Ensuring vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high-quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements
- Participating in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date
What sort of skills and experience you will need to work in one of our workshops?
Ideally, you will be a certified level 3 Technician, with a full UK driving licence, ideally with at least 2 years’ experience in this or a similar role although this isn’t essential. In addition to your prior experience, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
- Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
