Fleet Service Manager
Location: Reading
Salary: 45K basic + 6k OTE + company benefits
YOLO Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Fleet Service Manager, who leads by example and inspires the team around them. The ideal candidate will create a positive working atmosphere, enthuse, and motivate their team.
Duties for the Fleet Service Manager:
- Plan and control workforce resource availability to meet customer fleet demands.
- Manage and control labour costs, including any use of third parties.
- Comply with safety audits and manage working code of practice for contractors.
- Ensure planning for facilities, bays, machines, tools, diagnosis installations, etc., are carried out correctly, optimizing workplace design and processes.
- Prepare planning and calculations for investments in workshops, facilities, and HR, together with management.
- Regularly review prices for workshop services and adapt them to suit the market after prior agreement with management.
- Measure and report on daily workshop performance around retail sales, warranty, and internal contracts.
- Manage work-in-progress (WIP) and cash control.
- Employ new staff and carry out effective induction.
- Manage, coach, and motivate employees, ensuring retention of high-quality team members.
- Define target agreements with employees and review the level of target achievement.

Hours for this Fleet Service Manager role:
Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week. Flexibility required.
